Kao Chimigraf's work in respecting the environment has once again received recognition from the EcoVadis platform. The business rating agency has renewed, for the second consecutive year, the Platinum rating in its valuation of Kao Chimigraf.

With this new recognition, Kao Chimigraf validates for the second time a rating reserved for the 1% of the companies evaluated by EcoVadis that achieve a better valuation. The platform has thus valued the company's effort in the fields of environment, work and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing.

From Kao Chimigraf we celebrate this news, which again is a recognition of the years of effort in favour of sustainability in the process of elaboration and the life cycle of our products, as well as in our human resources policy and the commitment to well-being, diversity, respect and equality among our workers, as well as for safe and healthy conditions for the entire workforce.

In 2021 Kao Chimigraf achieved for the first time the "Platinum" rating, which has now been renewed for another year. In 2020, the company had received the Gold rating from EcoVadis, which it was able to surpass in just one year.
 

A baseline assessment

EcoVadis is an international rating agency focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In its assessments, it focuses on the sustainability of companies in these four areas: environment, labor practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing. All this from a methodology based on main standards (GRI, UN Global Compact and ISO 26000 standard), and supervised by an international scientific committee.

EcoVadis is considered one of the most reliable providers of business sustainability ratings globally, with more than 75,000 qualified companies.
